In morning our guide will pick up you from your hotel in Luxor to visit and discover both Edfu and Komombo temples, firstly you will visit edfu temple which is the second biggest temple in the whale of Egypt is covers about 6666 m2, it was found by (August Marreit) the French archeologist in 1868, it’s the most preserved temple in Egypt and dedicated to the falcon gad (Hours), Edfu temple is located 60 km south of Luxor, the duration of a visit to the temple of Edfu is two hours and then we will go directly to the discovery of the temple of komombo, komombo meaning the mountain of gold because it used to be short cut to the golden mines on the western Sahara desert, there are two double gods the crocodile god (Sobek) and the falcon god (Horus) the Temple was built in the Greek and Roman time about 217 B.C, the duration of a visit to the temple of Komombo 1 hour , finally we will transferred back to your hotel in Luxor.
