Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about booking, traveling, and staying safe in Egypt.
Is it safe to travel to Luxor right now?
Yes, Luxor is considered very safe for tourists. There is a strong police presence dedicated to tourism police, and millions of visitors enjoy the city every year without incident. We always monitor the situation closely.
Do I need a visa?
Most nationalities can obtain a visa upon arrival at Egyptian airports for $25 USD. However, we recommend checking the latest e-visa requirements for your specific country online before traveling.
What is the cancellation policy?
For most day tours, we offer a full refund if canceled 24 hours in advance. Multi-day packages may have different terms, which will be clearly outlined during the booking process.
What should I wear?
We recommend light, breathable clothing in summer and layers in winter. Comfortable walking shoes are essential. When visiting religious sites, modest dress (covering shoulders and knees) is required.
Is tipping expected?
Tipping is customary in Egypt. A general guideline is $5-10 per day for your guide and $2-5 per day for your driver. We never include tips in our prices to keep things transparent.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), PayPal, and bank transfers. A small deposit is required to confirm your booking with the balance due on arrival.
